About Ramanavami:Ram Navmi is the festival which is dedicated to birthday of Rama and is celebrated with the great zeal and enthusiasm throughout the country. For the Hindus the day is considered to be the most auspicious and the most sacred occasion. On Sri Ram navami Hindus pray and chant the name of Lord Rama. The festival is celebrated with the birth of the Lord Rama who is also one of the most worshiped Hindu God. Ram Navmi falls on the ninth day of the Chaitra month of the Hindu calendar. The celebration of the day starts with the prayer of Sun God. The devotees of Lord Ram who observes the whole day Ram navami fast on the festival can only break their fast in the midnight. As the part of the celebrations the people also keeps their house clean and also decorates the house in a beautiful way. The devotees also offers flowers, burn dhoop and incense sticks.

The traditions like Pooja, Ramnavmi Bhajan, Fast and Rath Yatra is to be followed by the devotees who follows Ram Navmi so well. On the occasion of Ram Navmi all the devotees worship Lord Rama as the day is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Rama. The pooja starts with the establishment of the pictures of Lord Rama, Lakshamana, Sita and Hanuman. Bhajan is also the important part of the ritual of the Ram Navmi pooja. The devotees chant the holy mantras and Ram naam (Ram's name) for the whole day and it makes the day highly religious.
